The strange case of how this blog came to be

I did things I don't usually do -- jump to conclusions. The original URL was http://jonathanmitchellisanasshole.blogspot.com/. I misjudged http://autismgadfly.blogspot.com/ and possibly http://the-newrepublic.blogspot.com/.

Then perhaps a day later I changed the URL to http://ageofstockholmsyndrome.blogspot.com/ when I found out Jonathan "Gadfly" Mitchell is a self-hating autistic before finally settling on the current URL. He blames his nature, not marginalization.

I'm still trying to figure out the other "New Republic." At first I thought it was hate directed at autistics. Then I starting thinking it was probably about the leadership of the movement not being exactly what it seems, or at least a claim to that effect.

My best guess at this point is that "Socrates" as he calls himself views the leadership of the neurodiversity movement as too extreme and intolerant.
