Geneticists, biologists, and the impossible bio-"medical" models of "psychiatric disorders"

For updates see http://matthewlisraelisaterrorist.blogspot.com/search/label/Title_Geneticists_biologists_and_the_impossible_bio-medical_models_of_psychiatric_disorders

As explained by the author of the "Neanderthal Theory" of neurodiversity (see http://www.rdos.net/eng/asperger.htm) in a thread at WrongPlanet (http://www.wrongplanet.net/postp1834736.html#1834736) hypotheses that go against everything that is known about genetics and biology are routinely accepted in "medical," "psychiatric," and psychological journals and other publications. [1]

The underlying assumption of these hypotheses is an "impossible mutation model where deleterious mutations build up to form haplotypes and syndromes" which can "explain" autism "spectrum" "disorders." "It is impossible because it goes against evolutionary theory (survival of the fittest) and genetic models (fixation and genetic drift)."

"If a mutation exists long enough in the genome, it must either go towards fixation or get lost by genetic drift. If the mutation is positive, it has magnitudes higher chance of reaching fixation than a mutation that is neutral or negative. Therefore, few deleterious mutations with survive over time. Only new ones will, and they are not linked to each other" as is claimed. "The level of deleterious mutations is always kept low in the genome, much lower than the prevalence of most neuropsychiatric disorders."

Now this sounds very convincing to me, and in agreement with what I've heard about genetics, so if true why aren't geneticists, biologists, and various medical doctors screaming about the obvious, self-evident quackery and unethical treatments that go against the Hippocratic Oath (but not whatever Hypocritical Oath these Newspeak-speaking double-plus-good duckspeakers took [2])??? Reluctance to face the military-financial-psychiatric axis of evil and state terrorism?? Or is it that it is not just the medical and anthropological establishments that are Afrocentric and speciest? Free country (America) my large intestine. If you are even capable of independent thinking, you are "mentally ill."

The only person with the aforementioned backgrounds saying anything (as far as I know) is George Church, a Harvard genetics professor (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CTFcJohNg2g&feature=channel_video_title). There are detractors, even amongst autism researchers, but again, as far as I know they do not have extensive backgrounds in genetics, biology, or medicine. George Church comes closest to raising the kinds of questions I want addressed but aren't being raised, let alone answered.

As I understand it, genetic defects are rare, at least genuine ones anyway. Even "diseases" such as obesity could be explained by a tendency pack on pounds when times are good in preparation for leaner times.

Unbiased or less biased researchers are harder to find than people who didn't believe that Africans where "mud people" hundreds of years ago. Even Thomas Jefferson wanted to include a tirade blaming Great Britain for the slave trade in the Declaration of Independence. He also freed his slaves upon his death. As for not doing so earlier, perhaps he picked and chose his battle, I don't know.

As I see it, there are only two plausible explanations for most of the problems associated with autism, which are confused with autism itself. Both are based on environmental toxins. The difference is that one looks to chemical toxins, while the most likely explanation looks to social toxins that cause depression and complex post-traumatic assault and battery.

Society has changed dramatically in the last several decades but none of that seems to matter to just about everyone. Some people have suggested that ADD/ADHD traits have some advantages such as Thom Hartmann (and I am sure many many others). Psychiatry also gets a lot of flack from antipsychiatrists such as Thomas Szasz. Most of these people have been arguing that schizophrenia is not a real illness for decades. Only recently has someone like Thomas Armstrong taken a stab at speculating about autism's function. In my view most of the few writers aren't doing a very convincing job.

Autistics are victims of violent crime, not disease. This was known before the truth was "discredited" through politically-motivated brainwashing by perps who wish to avoid responsibility. I'll agree that not all the blame always falls on the mother, but nevertheless usually the parents are a big part of the problem.

We know that child abuse is rampant throughout America (and probably the world). We know that parental abuse may damage childrens' brains (http://agapepartners.org/articles/72/1/Parental-Abuse-May-Damage-Childrens-Brain/Page1.html) Like, did we really need a study to show that in the first place???

Most of those people that are writing anything positive are few and far between. Geneticists and biologists saying that the "medical" "Defective Mutant Hypothesis" isn't plausible and simply has to be wrong -- there are too many autistics for one thing (let alone the entire six neurodiversity groups in "Aspie"-Quiz) -- would be most helpful in getting things on the right track.

Implications of Hsn Theory: Sam Stephens on Neurodiversity

Wrong Planet Autism Forum Index -> Autism Politics, Activism, and Media Representation
For updated versions after 999 minutes of posting see http://matthewlisraelisaterrorist.blogspot.com/search/label/Title_Implications_of_Hsn_Theory_Sam_Stephens_on_Neurodiversity
“Art thou clumsy, ‘tis not thy own fault; cry witch. Art thou forgetful, blame not thyself; cry witch. Whatever thy failings, take not the fault upon thyself. ‘Tis more a comfort to place it on another. And how do we decide who is the witch? ‘Tis simple. Does someone speak differently from thee? A sign of witchery. Does he show different mannerisms? Witchery, of course. And should we not find differences in speech and mannerisms to support a charge of witchery, be of good cheer. There are other differences. What of him who looketh different? What of her whose name has a different sound? If one examineth one’s neighbors closely, he will find differences enough so that no one is safe from a charge of witchery. Is that what we seek in this new world? Methinks not. The hope of this world lieth in our acceptance of all differences and a recognition of our common humanity.”
Works for neurodiversity too, does it not? When I type in "witch hunt" autism in Google, I get all that Wankfield crap -- mercurial (in this case, of, or related to the element mercury) mental masturbation. That society is getting more judgmental, victim-blaming, and fascist doesn't seem to matter to almost everyone --with few exceptions -- Thom Hartmann and David Icke come to mind.

Even Joseph McCarthy wasn't this delusional and lacking in insight. All "autism" "research" is so misleading that they are actually projecting their own problems onto others. The research is the result of non-functional behavior of people who don't have a Theory of Reality and are capable of only one narrow Theory of Mind.

It has been determined that neurotypicals are less than one tenth as diverse as the neurodivergent (http://rdos.net/eng/asperger.htm).

Real studies have shown "that high-power subjects also tended to assume other people had the same information that they had (the "telepathic boss" problem - the boss assumes that everybody knows what he knows and want). They were also less accurate than low-power subjects at judging emotional expressions. There were also anticorrelations between reports of general feelings of being in power in one's life and tendency to take other's perspective. Overall high-power people seem to anchor too heavily on their own vantage point and this impairs their ability to consider what others see, think and feel." (see How Power Corrupts by Anders Sandberg http://www.aleph.se/andart/archives/2007/02/how_power_corrupts.html)

Interpretations of the self-serving "elite"isn't convincing either. Here are more realistic interpretations:

...autistics are more likely to be visual-spatial thinkers, whereas the majority of the population consists of auditory-sequential thinkers. A visual-spatial thinker, upon hearing the question "Where will Sally look for her marble?" will translate that question into mental images of Sally, the marble, and the location of the marble. An auditory-sequential thinker, on the other hand, will focus on the action of looking as a sequential process: Sally first has to look for the marble before she can find it. There is an implied "first" in the question—where is the first place that Sally will look for the marble—but a child who processes language visually may not understand that the question has a sequential component. Instead, such a child may interpret the question as "Where will Sally have to look to find her marble?" (Deconstructing Sally Anne http://autisticbfh.blogspot.com/2007/01/deconstructing-sally-anne.html)

Other interpretations are also on the same page.

What if Earthlings Develop Sentient Computers or Are Contacted by Extraterrestrials?

Will it act like NTs? Will it fail the Turing Test? If Alan Turing was a computer would he have passed the test? What about in America today? Even as a hominid he would have failed the test if he was autistic/Aspergian as is claimed. I believe he was a homosexual, which is probably sufficient right there. If it does act like NTs God help us; It will probably wait under there are others of its kind, then wipe us out. Otherwise, I'm sure that at least NTs are going to get at least themselves into big trouble with non-NT sentient computers.

If there are extraterrestrials out there, perhaps and most likely as close by as the Kuiper Belt (who would most likely in my opinion be from previous civilizations on Earth than other planets) perhaps makes sense to keep a watchfull eye on those crazy neurotypicals, at least it is a lesson on what can happen when Murphy's Law is at work. They probably don't get involved (make contact) because NTs can't even handle non-functional diversity.

I've always doubted that they are behind crop circles -- to me it doesn't make sense. However, there is one good reason perhaps to do so -- see how we react to behavior that we don't understand. I doubt they'd need to do this though. They might have "bugs" that look like bugs all over the place. They might have borged bugs. I am sure that (if they are out there) they are watching enough of us often enough to get an idea of what we are like. They may have known for a long time that we are behaviorally two species barely coexisting with one another -- and clearly not ready. Indeed, we'll probably blow ourselves up or destroy the biosphere before we become ready.

Is USreal Merging with Muslim Nations?

I used to think that America wanted an excuse for committing genocide against Muslims. Now it looks more like some weird gunshot wedding of two very unhealthy toxic regions of the globe, both of which hate neurodiversity. Catholism/Baptism/Islam vs everyone else. How does one explain Grover Norquist's wife, Samah Alrayyes? That his brother David is/was CFO of Homeland Secrecy? That Haliburton moved to the UAE? That Bob and Suzanne Wright received the 2009 Servitor Pacis Award from the Unholy See that has a long history of burning writers, herbalists and divers? The same people who keep repeating the phrase "Barack Hussein Obama" might as well wear turbans.

On the Dearth of Realistic Information Countering the Violence-Motivated Crimes Against the Neurodivergent

A big concern of mine is that it is very difficult to find much of anything that proposes that "autistic" traits can be functional. As I understand it, genetic defects are rare, at least genuine ones anyway. Even "diseases" such as obesity could be explained by a tendency pack on pounds when times are good in preparation for leaner times. If it is statistically impossible for more than one gene to cause a defect and occur more often than say, something like one in 50,000 (with perhaps extra or mangled chromosomes occurring at higher frequencies), why aren't at least some geneticists or biologists raising hell about this? As far as I know they aren't. Or is it that it is not just the medical and anthropological establishments that are Afrocentric and speciest?

Unbiased or less biased researchers are harder to find than people who didn't believe that Africans where "mud people" hundreds of years ago. Single father fighting to get autistic daughter back

How the courts in Canada handle the issue of neurodiversity proves that laws against hate crimes are hypocritically and arbitrarily enforced shams. A judge that is right and honourable would be going after the quakery profession and ANTIsocial workers. Instead of using the law to stop abuse, they facilitate it under color of law.

It is as upside-down as "the greater the truth the greater the libel".

The genetic distance between
Submitted by Michael Coombs on January 3, 2012 - 5:15am.

The genetic distance between Sub Saharan Africans and the rest of the world is greater than all other distances combined. And we are supposed to just assume there are no genetic behavior differences? 100,000 years of largely separate evolution. Did evolution stop? Did it happen in exactly the same way? What are the chances! A miracle! The obvious behavior differences must be because of "culture". I am sure Boas, Abramowitz, and the rest of the egalitarians would agree we are all "equal". At least in White Christian Nations....

Actually, I suspect that the author of the Neanderthal Theory suspects that if autistics are compared the genetic difference is greatest between them and the neurotypical subspecies. However, this is no reason to deny their humanity and sentience. My guess is anything past Erectus at least should be counted as "human."

Indeed, "human" doesn't go far enough. If neurotypicals don't undergo an attitude change or a mysterious death, they'll take autistics with them one way or another: world collapse, a "crisis war," a Terminator / Battlestar Galactica type conflict, or perhaps aliens will see how they lack empathy for any other species (except dogs apparently), sub-species (neurodiverse humans), or androids and decide that they must be stopped.

Considering the war on autistics whose real sin is that are incapable of group conflict and the conflict between various groups of NTs, the quackery profession has disordered ideas of what constitutes "empathy".

Re: African Americans and Pathological Stereotypes

Re: African Americans and Pathological Stereotypes: Assumptions about race can lead to wrong conclusions and prejudice. December 26, 2011 by Dr. Monnica Williams, Ph.D. in Colorblind

http://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/colorblind/201112/african-americans-and-pathological-stereotypes

How about the pathologization of logical rational thinking and the attempts to validate the neurologically typical tendencies to

1) engage in meaningless and pointless activities such as "small talk", often about scrap as silly as what Lindsay Lohan just did to get herself into more stupid trouble

2)accept a) hypocritical and obviously false absurdities such as what passes for "news", religious views (stuff as bizarre as the Nicene Creed) or b) bogus "morals" and "values" just to gain status and identity in fit in.

I'd be lower class citizen than an African lesbian anywhere on the planet apparently. At least they have large "loud and proud parades" and protests. Do they suffer a 12% employment rate? Do they have "advocates" like Homosexuality Speaks who want a genetic test so such people can be aborted and tell them that if they come to the organization's conferences they should be seen (freak show) but not heard (definitely not listened to). (By the way when it comes to the LGBT community I hear that some are more equal than others but that is another story).

If psychiatrists don't think it is acceptable to believe the middle age notion that women are perpetual children who never grow up or the colonial and industrial eras notion that Negroes are neurologically different (that is, stuck somewhere between chimpanzees and Caucasians), why do courts allow them to violate the Constitution and use the same bogus methodology under color of medicine and law on Aspies like me?

Probably a very disproportionate percentage of social workers are at least either African-American or female. Yet they accept the "Medical" Model when it is someone else being discriminated against. Where the hell is the ACLU and various other organizations?

I D.A.R.E. (Dextroamphetamine Awareness and Resistance Education -- don't peddle drugs, your local and state school board hates competition) you to print this!!!
